Description
Chobe River Campsite is situated on the banks of the Chobe River, just across from the renowned Chobe National Park and approximately 4 km from the Ngoma Border Post between Namibia and Botswana. Surrounded by unspoilt wilderness, it offers an ideal escape for nature lovers, birdwatchers, and campers seeking a peaceful bush experience.
The campsite comprises 4 private campsites, each offering views of the Chobe River and surrounding floodplains. Guests have access to private ablution facilities, while firewood is available for purchase at reception. Please note that there is no electricity at the campsites.
Guests are welcome to make use of the facilities at the nearby Chobe River Camp, located approximately 700 m away. These include a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, complimentary Wi-Fi in the main lodge, secure parking, a laundry service, and 24-hour security. The lodge operates on a combination of solar power and generators.
A variety of seasonal activities can be arranged at an additional cost, including boat cruises, guided bush walks, canoeing, and birdwatching excursions.
