Description

Clarens Valley Lodge is situated in the scenic valley of Clarens and offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a double-storey holiday home, ideal for families.

The house can accommodate up to 9 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen, dining room, and lounge. The main bedroom is situated downstairs and has an en-suite bathroom that is fitted with a shower and a bath. The main bedroom also offers a sleeper couch which is suitable for children. The second bedroom is also situated downstairs and contains a double bed with an electric blanket. The third bedroom is a family bedroom situated upstairs and contains 5 single beds. There is a second bathroom with a shower and toilet as well as an additional, separate toilet.

The open-plan kitchen and dining room is equipped with a large family dining room table. There is a separate scullery equipped with a fridge with freezer, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a sink. There is also a sink in the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a 4-plate stove, an oven, cutlery, a microwave, a toaster, and a kettle. The spacious lounge features a wood-burning fireplace and leads out through a glass door onto a patio which offers lovely views, and an outdoor area for outdoor living, ideal for when it rains. The patio is equipped with a portable braai and a patio table and chairs. There is also an upstairs lounge with a TV with SABC 1, 2, 3 and e.tv channels. Guests are welcome to bring their own DStv decoders and smart cards for DStv access.

Guests have access to a fully fenced garden with lovely views of the surrounding mountains. Undercover parking is available for 2 cars to park right next to the house, as well as a secure gate to the property. The house is pet-friendly, however, the owners do request that pets are not allowed on the furniture or on the beds and that guests clean up after their pets before they leave to make the stay pleasant for the next guests.

The house is situated within close proximity to the centre of Clarens where there are restaurants, shops, and art galleries.
