Magnificent, amazing relaxing. Gill is the most amazing host and goes out of her way to make you feel at home! The cottage is a lovely 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom duplex with a fully fitted kitchen and is very clean. Gill gives her personal touch with hand-picked flowers and herbs placed in vases. The outdoor braai area is absolutely lovely! The canoe is a must, and we had a great time on the lake! I would, without hesitation, give Gill and the Clivia Hill Guest Cottage 100 percent in all categories! Hoping to return soon! Well done, Gill!

Ons was 4 dae daar en elke dag was spesiaal. Ons het ons verblyf baie geniet, skoon, netjies en rustig. Gill is 'n wonderlike dame, vriendelik, bedagsaam en behulpsaam.

Rustige, wonderlike omgewing en pragtige gerieflike eenheid. Die drie dae wat ons by Clivia Hill Cottage gebly het, was ongelooflik lekker. Die eenheid is netjies en toegerus met alles wat nodig is. Gill, ons gasvrou, het ons baie vriendelik ontvang en ons inligting gegee van al die besienswaardighede in die omgewing. Die uitsig op die stoep kyk op die dam en die mooi tuin. Ons het baie lekker gebly, sal dit beslis aanbeveel.

Extremely good. Gill's hospitality and care from the time we booked until we left was excellent. Gill's involvement regarding our comfort and safety during the hailstorm itself gave us all information that was suitable for us then on. The cottage was extremely beautiful, clean, and comfortable. See the stars.

Good value for money in a lovely location. We loved our stay. Gill was responsive and helpful, giving us great suggestions on where to eat and things to do. Based centrally, one is able to get to Monks Cowl Reserve easily, a bit longer to get to Royal Natal Reserve. Budget a bit of extra time for the road conditions. Beds were very comfortable, we slept so well. Will definitely use this as our base next time we visit the Drakensberg.

Food for body, mind and spirit! A great cottage for experiencing some tranquility! Great views, area for walks with our furry friend along a stretch of the Bell Park Dam. We also appreciated the lovely personal touches, such as a pincushion bouquet from the garden, a bunch of fresh herbs from the garden in the kitchen, firewood for the first evening, and a Clivia cutting as a departure gift. Zama's friendliness and keeping the cottage fresh and clean daily was greatly appreciated. The cottage is well equipped. Gill is an excellent hostess who keeps the needs of her guests at heart. We look forward to seeing you again!

Rustige plekkie in die berge. 'n Pragtige plekkie in die berge met alles wat jy mag nodig hê. Dis baie skoon en netjies met 'n rustige tuin. Die dam is net 'n klipgooi weg wat dit lekker gemaak het om bietjie te stap. Gill is 'n pragtige dame, wat ons warm verwelkom het en seker gemaak het dat ons gemaklik is. Ek sal die plekkie beslis vir mense aanbeveel.

Soos hierbo. Die gasvrou het my vriendelik en gasvry ontvang en vooraf inligting met my gedeel oor gebeurtenisse en aktiwiteite wat in die omgewing plaasgevind het gedurende die naweek waartydens ek daar oorgebly het. Die kothuis is smaakvol gemubileer en baie goed toegerus vir self-catering. Ek het baie lekker gebly en kan dit beslis aanbeveel.

Peaceful, wholesome, beautiful, breathtaking. My family and I had the most amazing time at Clivia Hill. One of our favourite parts was meeting Gill, the host. She is just as lovely as her guest cottage. Only one problem, our stay was too short! What a beautiful setting, we are so sad to live so far away but will hopefully be able to visit the Drakensberg in the future. Thank you, Gill, for maintaining Clivia Hill and for making it such a wonderful place.
