Nestled an hour away from the bustling cities of Johannesburg and Pretoria, Imbabali Retreat & Venue Cottage 3 is a hidden gem located in the foothills of the majestic Magaliesberg Mountain Range, an area steeped in rich history and offering a myriad of outdoor activities.
This cottage can comfortably accommodate 4 guests at a time and comprises 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed, while the second bedroom contains 2 single beds. A shower, washbasin and toilet are available in the bathroom.
The living area features a kitchen equipped with a 2-plate stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. The lounge has comfortable seating and the cottage offers free Wi-Fi. Outside, guests have their own private patio with braai facilities and a splash pool. Guests are afforded parking in a double carport on the property.
Imbabali Retreat and Venue offers a tranquil and relaxed environment with jungle gyms for the kiddies, and a restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and refreshments. A TV and free Wi-Fi are available at the restaurant or one can book this facility for conferences, meetings, functions, weddings, and team-building. Charcoal, wood and ice are available at an extra charge if needed. Social dogs are welcome.
Imbabali Retreat & Venue is a haven for nature enthusiasts, boasting an exceptionally diverse abundance of fauna, flora, and birdlife. The Magaliesberg, with its stunning mountain range and surrounding areas, is home to 450 species of birds, including the Cape Vulture, Black Stork, and White-backed Night Heron. For avid bird watchers, the retreat provides a detailed bird list for the area, enhancing the experience of spotting these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
The retreat offers a range of activities to cater to every taste. For fishing enthusiasts, Imbabali provides catch-and-release bass, carp, tilapia, and yellow fishing opportunities. Guests can explore the expansive grounds, engage in bird watching, or pamper themselves with spa treatments. The property features a pool, darts, table tennis, and a library, providing a perfect balance of leisure and recreation.

A refundable breakage deposit of R800 is payable directly to the property.

Music is not allowed and guests are required to be quiet by 22:00.
Only 4 guests are allowed in the cottage at a time.
A 50% deposit is payable upfront and the balance is due 48 Hours prior to arrival.
The hosts do have large and small dogs that roam the property freely at all times, as well as chickens, ducks and birds. Imbabali Retreat and Venue accepts no responsibility for the actions of any animals and or pets on the property and asks that they be treated with respect.
Fishing is on a catch-and-release basis only.
Please bring your own swimming towels.
A refundable breakage deposit is required via EFT at least 48 hours prior to arrival (cash or credit card payments are not accepted for breakage deposits):
