The space is private and quiet with beautiful views. The hot tub looking out on the dam and the hammock overlooking the dam and sheep passing by on the farm - absolute farmlife bliss.

Cosy house with peaceful view over the dam. My husband and I had a 2-night visit in the Dam Huisie. Friendly hosts that go the extra mile for you. Hosts supply wood at R30 per bag for braai or the wood-burning hot tub. We weren't brave enough for the hot tub, but believe that it would be great. Bed is comfy and I appreciated the electrical blanket! Great WiFi! Peaceful and relaxing. Everything in the kitchen you'll need. We will definitely come again.

We were warmly welcomed by our host, who had already started the hot tub for us, setting the tone for a relaxing stay. The cottage is impeccably designed—simple yet stylish, cozy, and undeniably romantic. We spent hours on the inviting porch, enjoyed both the outdoor fire pit and the indoor fireplace, and had every amenity we could possibly need. The fluffy, velvety duvet and comforter kept us perfectly warm without even touching the electric blankets. Surrounded by farm life and stunning nature, we watched sheep and horses wander by, with my wife happily making new four-legged friends. Between the hot tub, the fires, and the peaceful views, Die Dam Huis is everything you could want for a perfect farm escape.
