Description
Davison Safari Lodge is a modern, industrial-style self-catering lodge situated within the Mabalingwe Nature Reserve on the outskirts of Bela-Bela. The lodge offers a tranquil bushveld setting with scenic views, making it an ideal retreat for families and groups seeking a relaxing stay in nature.
The lodge can accommodate up to 10 guests across 5 en-suite bedrooms. The Nguni room is furnished with a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and shower. The second and third bedrooms each contain 2 three-quarter beds and have en-suite bathrooms fitted with showers, and are wheelchair friendly due to their spacious layout. The fourth bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and a double sleeper couch, with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and shower. The fifth bedroom is a separate loft-style apartment featuring a queen-size bed and basin upstairs, with a lounge and dining area downstairs that opens onto a private outdoor deck. Two additional guest toilets are available for convenience.
The open-plan living area is designed for comfort and includes stylish seating, a bar area, and a dining table. The fully equipped kitchen contains a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, supporting a fully functional self-catering stay.
The outdoor area offers a spacious verandah with braai facilities, a fire pit, a swimming pool, and a stargazing platform accessed via a staircase. Secure parking is available on the premises. Guests can enjoy the surrounding bushveld scenery and wildlife experiences within the reserve.
