Description

De Kamp Gasteplaas is a family-run sheep farm located on the edge of the Namaqualand in Vanrhynsdorp. It serves as an ideal overnight stop for travellers and adventurers heading to Namibia and the Kgalagadi. The farm is 15 km from the centre of Vanrhynsdorp along the R27 route. From a distance, guests can see the Geelhek, where they turn in, and then continue along a quiet 3.4 km farm road to reach the property.

The self-catering unit is attached to the farmhouse and accommodates 2 guests. It includes a bedroom with a double bed, a wall-mounted TV with DStv, a fan and ample storage space. The separate bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet. All linen and bath towels are provided. Free Wi-Fi is available.

The furnished unit has a kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, kettle, stove and a dining table for 2. A coffee station with homemade rusks is also provided.

Outside, there is a braai area and washing-up facilities. Firewood is available. The unit is suitable for flower tourists seeking peaceful farm life, panoramic views and sunsets in a flower-filled landscape.
