De Valle Hideaway

Description

De Valle Hideaway is a restored stone cottage, previously the home of a Tankwa farmer, located beneath a ridge in the Karoo landscape and offering a private and peaceful escape.

The house comprises 3 bedrooms and accommodates up to 7 guests. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, the second bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a single bed, and the third bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds. These rooms share a bathroom fitted with a bath, basin and toilet. Linen and bath towels are provided.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, cutlery, crockery and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The house includes a separate lounge and a cosy living area with a fireplace. Solar power provides electricity for light use, and a gas geyser ensures hot water. A large braai area is available for outdoor cooking and gatherings.

The unspoilt Karoo landscape features unique succulent vegetation. A large waterfall in the surrounding area serves as a local visitor attraction within 20 km of the property.
