I definitely recommend Dennegeur Gastehuis. Our accommodation was fantastic, clean, upmarket fixtures. Quiet setting. Host was very pleasant and helpful.

Not-quite-a-farm stay in rural peace. Dennegeur was not easy to find, as although a location pin was sent, there is no signage on the road to/from Somerset East, and one doesn't necessarily have data to use GPS. We had downloaded the Google Maps directions, but it led us to the wrong place. The rondavel was lovely and spacious, with an added kitchen and bathroom and all necessary equipment and utensils. We might be wrong, but there was no indication that we could walk on the plot(s) - nice if one wanted to stay longer than just the one night we did.

A pleasant, comfortable and tranquil space after a long work day. We had a comfortable stay of 6 days as part of a business trip. My colleagues and I all enjoyed our rooms and our host made sure we had everything we needed, and more. The rondavels are cosy with well-equipped kitchens, and the room in the B&B is very spacious. After a long day of work, the few minutes' drive out of town and the tranquillity of the plot was most welcoming.

A great place to stop overnight. The cottages were very clean and the furnishings were comfortable. Lovely little kitchens with all the necessary cutlery and crockery. Our hostess arranged a moveable braai for us, which was super. An ideal stop on our trip.

Underwhelming. Melissa was welcoming, and the linen was spotless and the beds comfy. However, the pictures of the views are not accurate. The rondawels and small gravel yard are surrounded by a high wooden fence with no view. There's no comfortable outside area to sit. There's only one small window and the rondawel is dark and poky. R750 per night is excessive; this is a R750 per night establishment.
