Escape to a private, stylish cottage in a quiet residential part of Somerset West, with the Helderberg mountains providing a striking backdrop. Designed for two guests, the cottage offers generous indoor and outdoor living spaces, a private splash pool and everything needed for a comfortable short or extended stay. The cottage is situated on the property of the owner and sectioned off for privacy.

Large folding doors connect the open-plan living area with the private patio and pool, creating an easy indoor-outdoor flow. Outside, you’ll find comfortable lounge seating beside the pool — a good spot for a morning coffee, an afternoon in the sun or a quiet evening with a glass of wine.

Inside, the bright open-plan living area includes a comfortable lounge with Samsung Smart TV, a dining area for two and a fully equipped modern kitchen. The kitchen includes a Bosch fridge/freezer, integrated Siemens dishwasher, Bosch washing machine, Defy oven and hob, microwave, Philips air fryer, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster and the usual kitchen essentials. There is plenty of storage and countertop space if you prefer cooking rather than eating out.

The separate bedroom features a king size Cloud Nine Comfort Core bed, quality linen, bedside pendant lighting, cupboard space and a small dressing/work area. The bedroom leads to a modern en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The cottage has been designed to offer considerably more than just a place to sleep. Guests have their own private outdoor area and pool, while the open-plan layout makes it comfortable for longer stays as well.

Please note – quiet neighbourhood

The cottage is situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood, and we are careful to respect our neighbours. It is best suited to couples, solo travellers and guests looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

Parties, events and gatherings are not permitted. Loud music, shouting or excessive noise is not allowed, and we ask guests to keep noise to a minimum, particularly also during our quiet hours from 22:00 to 08:00.

If you are looking for somewhere to party, entertain groups or play loud music, we kindly ask that you book elsewhere. We would much rather be clear about this before you book so that the cottage is the right fit for everyone.
