Description

DeVosRus Guesthouse is located in a residential area in Kathu and is personally managed by the owner. The property is unaffected by load shedding, making it a convenient choice for business travellers or overnight guests visiting Namibia, Botswana, the Kgalagadi, Augrabies, or Namaqualand.

Accommodation consists of 6 rooms, ranging from luxury to exclusive options. Three rooms are furnished with double beds, while the remaining rooms each have a double bed and a three-quarter bed. Each room features a private en-suite bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower and toilet.

Water softeners are installed, and each room has its own geyser.

All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, a TV with a full DStv package, a fridge, a microwave, and a table with chairs. Tea- and coffee-making facilities are provided in each room. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Some rooms also offer access to Netflix and Showmax for additional entertainment.
Designated seating areas are available for both smokers and non-smokers.

Covered parking is conveniently located in front of the rooms, with a height restriction of 2.4 meters. The parking area is well-lit, behind an electronically controlled gate, and not visible from the street. CCTV cameras monitor both the interior and exterior of the property, alongside controlled access for added security.

On-site amenities include an 11-meter swimming pool and an 80,000-litre koi pond stocked with imported koi fish. The garden features a variety of plant species, including bread trees, palm trees, bonsai, and many more.

The Kalahari Country Club and golf course are approximately 3.4 km from the guesthouse.
