Serene. Friendly staff. The stay was pleasant. It was very peaceful. The staff on duty were very accommodating and helpful. The only issue I had was that the room could have had more amenities such as a microwave, cutlery besides tea-making facilities, as well as extra bedding. The bed was also very firm. My partner suffers from MS and lupus, and it was a very uncomfortable sleep for her. I'd suggest they add that detail to the rooms they have available. Other than that, our stay was quiet and tranquil.

Clean and tidy. Friendly service. Nice stay although the shower didn't have hot water, no remote for the aircon and the other one didn't have power on Sunday morning.

Skoon en netjies. Vriendelike diens. Lekker gebly alhoewel die stort nie warm water gehad het nie, geen remote vir die aircon nie en die ander een het Sondagoggend nie krag gehad nie.

Average - good for sleep only. When we arrived, there was no one to open the gates or check in. The worker available did not seem to know what was happening or even that we were supposed to be there; there was no staff or reception at all. Although we were only there for one night and were the only two people present, it would have been nice to have someone greet us and advise us on the rules, etc., or where to find water/milk. The same thing happened when we left; there was no person in sight to give us the keys or open the gate. We waited around 10 minutes and had to call the owner, who then called the staff member to open for us. Overall, it is possibly an okay place to just sleep, but there is not much else to do. The gardens are well maintained and beautiful.
