Die Groen Akker Guest House is situated on the banks of the Renoster Spruit, approximately 14 km from Bloemfontein’s Central Business District and 7 km from Bloemfontein Airport. The double-storey, Tuscan-styled buildings are set on a 3-hectare smallholding and offer secure country-style accommodation within tranquil surroundings, away from the bustle of the city. The guest house is conveniently located within easy reach of major sport, art and cultural amenities in the area.
Accommodation is offered in 5 spacious rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The rooms are individually decorated and are furnished for comfort. Standard features include a TV with DStv channels, air-conditioning, a safe, linen, towels, toiletries, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The Executive Room is designed as a spacious luxury option and features a private lounge area as well as a balcony overlooking the river.
Conference facilities are available on site and comprise 3 versatile venues. Venues 1 and 2 each measure 180 m² and feature balconies overlooking the river. The boardrooms can be adapted to include a breakaway room and/or coffee lounge area. Venue 3 measures 300 m² and can also be configured to incorporate breakaway rooms and a coffee lounge.
All boardrooms are fitted with air-conditioning, a projector and screen, a flipchart with pens and paper, jugs of ice water, mints, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, providing a practical setting for meetings and corporate events.
