Die Hartbeeshuisie is a comfortable self-catering home situated in Marloth Park, a wildlife conservancy bordering the Crocodile River, which forms the boundary with the Kruger National Park. This unique setting offers guests the opportunity to experience free-roaming wildlife and over 300 bird species right on their doorstep.
The spacious home offers accommodation for up to 6 guests. There are 2 bedrooms, each furnished with a double bed, as well as a double sleeper couch in the living area. Both bedrooms and the living area are fitted with air conditioning, while ceiling fans are available throughout the house.
The open-plan living space includes a kitchen, dining area, and lounge, creating a relaxed and social atmosphere. The bathroom is fitted with both a bath and a shower, along with a separate toilet. An additional outdoor shower and toilet add convenience, especially after a day spent outdoors.
One of the highlights of Die Hartbeeshuisie is the jacuzzi set in the veld, where guests can unwind while watching wildlife graze nearby. The temperature can be adjusted between 25 and 34 degrees, allowing for a relaxing soak at any time of day, even after sunset. The jacuzzi also functions as a small splash pool with a sand filter system. A swinging bench nearby offers another peaceful spot to take in the surroundings.
A thatched lapa and braai area provide the perfect setting for evenings around the fire, often accompanied by the distant sounds of lions, hyenas, and hippos from the nearby reserves, adding to the authentic bushveld atmosphere.
Additional features include a UPS backup battery system for added convenience during power interruptions. Guests are kindly requested to bring their own bath and swimming towels.
