Die Melkstal is situated on a working farm in Heidelberg. Originally an early 1980s three-point cow milking parlour, the property has been thoughtfully converted into a charming self-catering unit. Located close to Route 62 and the start of the Garden Route, it offers a peaceful farm setting where guests can unwind and enjoy the surrounding natural landscape. With limited to no mobile signal and Wi-Fi, the property provides an ideal environment for a quiet and uninterrupted stay.
The unit accommodates up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. All bedrooms are furnished with double beds. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, air fryer, and tea-and-coffee-making facilities, along with a breakfast bar with 3 stools. Adjacent to the kitchen is the living area, which features comfortable seating arrangements and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding nature.
The outdoor area includes braai facilities, a wood-fired hot tub, and a dining table for meals. Wood is available at an additional cost. On the grass area, there is an additional seating space with a table and stools, as well as a fireplace that overlooks the scenic surroundings. Secure parking is available on site.
