Lovely, homely stay. It was wonderful. Martelize and Wynand were fantastic hosts, and meeting Guppy was an extra bonus. The cottage was very comfortable, and the fenced garden was great for our dogs.

Perfect. Martelize was absolutely wonderful on arrival; she gave us freshly cooked vetkoek with butter and jam. My mom and I had an amazing stay and loved being there with all the animals. I would highly recommend this and will definitely return.

Great place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Die Perdestal; it's lovely accommodation in a beautiful farm setting. We were disappointed when we arrived that there wasn't any home-baked fresh bread as mentioned in many of the reviews, since we hadn't bought bread at the shop beforehand in anticipation. There was only a tiny bit of watered-down handwash left in the bathroom, so we needed to buy that, and the windows were dirty, but I know it is a farm and things get dusty quickly. Just observations; this did not spoil our stay .

Peaceful, restful and exquisitely undisturbed. We received exactly what we were looking for. A quiet place to rest in a farmyard atmosphere and do walks, listen to birds, sit at the fire, read a book and just catch up with each other. Also close to an arty village where we could attend markets and meet friendly residents. The town is quaint with the most spectacular church.

Incredible and home away from home! This is truly the best place we have ever stayed at. The cottage is so well equipped and the service from the owners is remarkable. You feel at home as soon as you walk in and the home baked bread is definitely a winner. We will definitely go back. It feels like home and the scenery is remarkable.

Lovely hosts & little surprises. We had a lovely stay at die Perdestal, the hosts were absolutely lovely. Beautiful little surprises like rusks & fresh flowers really made us feel welcome. We would definitely recommend die Perdestal.
