Tucked away in the fynbos-covered hills of Papiesvlei, just 25 minutes from the charming village of Stanford, Die Tuin offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of the Overberg. This one-bedroom cottage on Bo Uitkyk Farm is ideal for couples, small families, or solo travelers seeking a break from the rush of everyday life.

The cottage sleeps up to four guests and features a queen-size bed in the main bedroom and a double sleeper couch in the lounge – perfect for kids. The open-plan living area includes a fully equipped kitchen, a dining space, and a cozy indoor fireplace and built-in braai – making it perfect for chilly evenings or rainy days.

Step outside and experience true country living. Soak in the private wood-fired hot tub under the stars or use it as a refreshing cold plunge during the summer months. Spend lazy afternoons in the hammock, roast marshmallows around the boma firepit, or enjoy a relaxed braai while taking in the mountain views and peaceful surroundings.

The farm is fully fenced and safe to explore at your own pace, with scenic trails for walking or mountain biking through the fynbos.
