Description
Tuishuis is a lovely one-bedroom self-catering unit on Rooidam Farm in the Free State, offering off-the-grid accommodation for up to 5 guests.
This property provides eco-friendly accommodation, with electricity supplied by solar power and gas used for heating purposes. In addition, all the water is sourced from the property's own borehole.
The one-bedroom unit is furnished with 2 double beds, a three-quarter bed, and a couch in the living area. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, basic crockery and cutlery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. As the cottage operates on a solar power system, there is no electric kettle or microwave, but there is a gas stove. The living area features comfortable seating and a TV with Netflix only.
The unit opens onto a lovely patio with outdoor furniture, braai facilities, and beautiful views. The property is securely fenced, making it an ideal overnight stop when travelling to or from the coast via the N8, and it is conveniently located close to the N1.
Tuishuis is situated approximately 10 km outside Bloemfontein, bordering the well-known Goosehill area, and is also close to De Brug.
