Description
Dolphin Cottage is a charming self-catering house located in the idyllic coastal town of Morgan Bay. It offers a tranquil escape for families or groups of friends and is situated within close proximity to the beach. Guests can enjoy relaxing coastal views and a variety of outdoor activities in the surrounding area.
The house can accommodate 6 guests, including children over the age of 2, and comprises 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, toilet, and washbasin. The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed, while the third bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds. Both of these bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. The third bedroom is separate from the main house and has its own entrance. A guest toilet is also available. All linen and bath towels are provided, while guests are required to bring their own beach towels.
The upstairs living area includes a lounge, dining area, and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and cutlery and crockery. The dining area contains a table suitable for 6 guests, and the lounge is furnished with comfortable seating and a coffee table. The house is supplied with a solar system and batteries to ensure an uninterrupted power supply during load shedding. The living area opens onto a covered verandah with panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding hills. Guests can enjoy al fresco dining at the table and gather around the free-standing kettle braai, which operates with briquettes. Undercover parking is available. A range of activities can be enjoyed in the area, including fishing, bird watching, horse riding, and cycling.
Dolphin Cottage is pet-friendly, allowing a maximum of two well-behaved, house-trained dogs per booking. Guests are responsible for providing all bedding and feeding equipment, and pets are not permitted on beds or furniture. Guests are also responsible for cleaning up after their pets and for any damage caused during their stay. This ensures the property remains clean and welcoming for all visitors.
