Best stay to date in the area! Best stay in a very long time, I had booked for 5 nights. Both Dieter and Esther were very kind and excellent all round! I received a warm, friendly welcome on my arrival and my stay was made very pleasant by both. Esther went out of her way to make my stay most enjoyable and stress-free; nothing was too much of an ask for her. The yard has fruit trees and herbs. Dieter offered me to get anything I wanted, which I thought was very kind of him. On the last day of my stay, my classes were finishing late and Dieter offered that I could sleep over and leave in the morning. Such kindness is rare and very commendable! The place had everything I needed for my stay. This will definitely be my choice accommodation whenever I'm in the area and I recommend it to anyone who needs a peaceful, beautiful stay!

Enjoyable. My stay at Donovan Heights from 2 May to 4 May 2026 was excellent. On arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Esther, who was an outstanding host from start to finish. I had originally booked a single room, but upon arrival, Esther informed me that due to certain arrangements, they had upgraded me to a spacious two-person room at no extra cost. The room included its own kitchen, private bathroom, and a lovely deck outside with a braai area and a beautiful view over the property, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Esther was incredibly helpful with every query I had. I urgently needed to print some important documents and asked if there was any nearby place I could do it. Without hesitation, she offered for me to use their own printer and even came back to assist me, which was greatly appreciated. She also made sure I had enough espresso pods—which was definitely a bonus! Small touches like that really made the experience feel personal and welcoming. Overall, Donovan Heights offers great value for money, a peaceful and comfortable stay, and truly exceptional hospitality. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in the area.
