Amazing - such a beautiful spot with lovely hosts. Doorways was above and beyond our expectations. It was such a sweet little place, with a beautiful garden of plums, roses and lavender, and surrounded by a small vineyard. Our room was perfect - but it was the little touches - like a bowl of cherries and a vase of flowers on the side table, that made all the difference. The hosts were so warm and kind, and didn't mind our two puppies at all! We hope to be back and stay in Barrydale for longer than 1 night!

I would recommend Doorways to everyone. Daphne is a great host and the rooms were lovely, warm and cosy with heaters and electric blankets for the cold winter days. Lovely communal area and they roast great coffee.

Wonderful and we'll definitely be back later this year! Absolutely fantastic! Lovely units equipped with everything we needed. Very comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms, common room to share for kitchen facilities and relaxing, lovely deck outside Room 3 with beautiful views. It was a short walk into town where we found a great choice of restaurants and quirky shops.

Breathtaking views & spacious, comfy rooms! The view from the main room was breathtaking! What a spoil. All the rooms were spacious and well equipped. Home from home, with an excellent coffee station too. Daph was super helpful and accommodating. We had the most wonderful stay and will highly recommend Doorways.
