Short stay, but very nice. Very nice stay, close to the sea and light tower. Room is exactly what you need. Will book again when we are in that area again.

Kort verblyf, maar baie lekker. Baie lekker gebly, naby die see en ligte toren. Kamer is presies wat mens nodig het. Sal weer bespreek, wanneer ons weer in daai omgewing is.

A predictably good stay once again. This was the fourth time we have stayed at Driftwood in the last four years. Its simple relaxed style suits us, and we love Cape St Francis. We have a routine of walks and visits that we never get tired of, even now we are very old. Over the years, we have got to know the owners and consider them as friends.

All is not what it seems. Very disappointing. The wooden cabin is a Wendy house with a shower built on. The place is not small, it's tiny. There are no shelves, cupboards, or packing space except by the toilet. So your food and clothes have to go on the floor. There is no two-plate stove and oven. There is an air fryer. The microwave is rusted inside and the operating knobs are dirty. The crockery and cutlery look like they have been collected from all over. Not one item matches. The 'garden' outside the back door, where you are supposed to braai, is a wood storage place and looks terrible. The shower rose is a copper pipe that's drilled full of holes with no water pressure, making showering difficult. There is no place next to the beds to put anything, so everything needs to go on the floor. There is no secure undercover parking as shown in the pictures. You have off-street parking on the front lawn, but the entrance is open with no gates. The only positive I could find is that the beds and pillows are comfortable. If you are just staying overnight, this place will be suitable but not for a weekend.
