Description

Dwarsrivier Country Getaway is proudly graded two stars by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa and is nestled in the heart of Cloete’s Mountain Pass, approximately 13 km from Herbertsdale. The property is accessed via a scenic gravel road, enhancing the sense of escape and tranquillity.

Accommodation is offered in two rondavels and two uniquely designed cottages, surrounded by natural beauty and rich birdlife with over 40 spotted species. The units offer varying sleeping capacities and feature comfortable beds, private bathrooms with showers, and fresh linen and towels.

The cottages are equipped with kitchens or kitchenettes including a fridge, two-plate stove, oven, microwave, crockery, cutlery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

Guests can enjoy a range of relaxing on-site activities. A swimming pool with breathtaking views over the valley below offers the perfect place to unwind. The fully licensed pub features a spacious deck overlooking both the mountains and the valley, creating a wonderful setting to enjoy a drink while taking in the scenery. Guests are also welcome to explore the macadamia nut orchards, enjoy peaceful moments in the garden, or simply relax with a good book in this tranquil country setting.
