Description
Mabalingwe Eagles View is a private self-catering lodge located in the popular Mabalingwe Nature Reserve in Bela-Bela, Limpopo. Situated approximately 120 km from Pretoria, the lodge offers a peaceful bushveld retreat and an opportunity to experience a Big 5 safari getaway.
The lodge accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 spacious en-suite bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and features a bathroom with a bath, while the remaining 2 bedrooms each contain 2 single beds that can be converted into king-size beds on request. Two bedrooms are situated upstairs alongside the living area, while the third bedroom is located on the ground floor and is accessed via exterior stairs. Linen and bath towels are provided, but guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.
The open-plan living area includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and lounge. The kitchen is fitted with a fridge, freezer, gas stove, electric oven, air fryer, microwave, toaster, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The lounge offers comfortable seating and a large TV with access to Showmax, Netflix, and YouTube. Free WiFi is available for TV use, while mobile device connectivity is available at an additional cost. Guests can relax in the private boma with a built-in braai or enjoy the swimming pool and patio overlooking the surrounding bushveld and mountains.
Facilities and activities within approximately 1 km include tennis, padel and squash courts, a mini-golf course, swimming pools, a convenience store, a children’s play area, and a restaurant with a bar. Guests can also enjoy game drives, birdwatching, horse-riding safaris, and lion feeding within the reserve. The estate additionally features heated and cold swimming pools, while the Kalahari Oasis bush pub is located nearby.
