Genuinely pleasant. The hostess was extremely kind and welcoming. It was truly beautiful and the home was wonderful. It was great to have WiFi even though the surrounding nature was captivating enough not to have to worry about technology for a short time.

Farm life in the mountains and the best hiking trails. My girlfriend and I had an incredibly nice stay. The hostess is so friendly and helps you a lot with activities and places to see. We loved the dogs and farm life. The view is beautiful. There are also food options for purchase by ordering at the accommodation which is very nice.

Peaceful, scenic, fun. We stayed for 4 nights and Helen was an amazing host. The dogs were so friendly and welcoming on arrival, and it was nice to get the occasional visit from them. I think my absolute favourite part of the fox den is the fact that it's close to where the chickens roam, and it was so nice to just watch and listen to them having their little chats. The property is beautiful, as to be expected in Hogsback. The directions given to us were perfect. When you are there, you have to order the veg lasagna; make sure you are hungry. 100 points.

Cosy and comfortable. Our stay was very comfortable and not at all as cold as I thought it was going to be, given all the stone used in the decor. The Dover stove was a gem and kept the entire place toasty warm.

Great experience. We enjoyed the stay. We just did not realise how far the unit is, how secluded it is, and that it is quite a bad road getting there. Not preferred for small and low cars.
