Healing, tranquil, beautiful, artistic. Finding this place has been an incredible gift to us. There are hardly words to describe the beauty, tranquility, harmony, peace and healing locked up in this stunning spot. Superb in every aspect and unlike the usual.

Super relaxing, beautiful setting, wonderful hosts. Will definitely visit again. We had an awesome stay and our dog enjoyed swimming in the dam. The hosts are wonderful and very welcoming. The cabin is beautiful, very clean and fully equipped with everything you need. Two large bedrooms with an outside kitchen/dining area. The large premises are a piece of heaven with many pathways and secluded spots to sit and enjoy nature. A true nature lover's paradise.

Quiet location with some super walks. Wonderfully quiet location close to the edge of the Knysna forest (Goudveld Wilderness area). Brett and Adela are gracious and friendly hosts, and we would definitely visit again if we get the opportunity.

Totally recommend to any nature lover. Elephant Rest was the highlight of my stay in SA! It was so peaceful amongst the greenery and the wildlife. My (adult) son and I spent loads of time sitting by the dam just watching the dragonflies. Adela and Brett were perfect hosts, suggesting the best snorkelling spot and sharing their love of their beautiful place - it was a joy to chat with them.

Very pleasant safe, comfortable and enjoyable. Very pleasant and comfortable. We travelled with friends and our dogs and were made extremely welcome by Brett. We all had a great time.
