Elevated Valley View Campsite offers a true wild camping experience in Limpopo, approximately 2 hours' drive from Pretoria. Situated near Kamonande Game Park, the site provides stunning mountain views and the chance to see wildlife such as kudu, sable, wildebeest, zebra, impala, and waterbuck, nyala, klipspringer and more. The occassional leopard and brown hyena may be spotted or heard in the night time hours for that added suspense.
This basic campsite can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children and features an outdoor open air shower with a fresh water tap on the other side. It is ideal for those seeking an authentic outdoor adventure. With no toilets, bar, or kitchen. Guests will need to be fully self-sufficient. Enjoy breathtaking mountain views by day, starry skies at night, and the opportunity to spot the area's renowned wildlife.
The campsite is located about 20 minutes from Vaalwater, where guests can stock up on supplies, with a OK Mini Mark supermarket just 15 minutes away. Guests can request to use the facilities at a nearby mountain retreat, which includes a braai area and an outdoor pool.
