Evara is situated in a lush, park-like garden next to the Temenos Retreat. Built in the heritage vernacular Cape style, which is encouraged in McGregor, it contributes to the charm that makes this peaceful village so special.
The accommodation is a private flatlet attached to the main house and can accommodate 3 guests. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and offers an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower and toilet. There is a single sleeper couch in the lounge.
The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, kettle, cutlery, and crockery. Guests have access to common areas inside, including the courtyard and terrace, which offer lovely views of the church steeple and distant mountains to the north-west.
The garden and pool area are also available to guests, with a braai area near the pond. A washing machine is located in the laundry and is accessible to guests.

McGregor, located on the “road to nowhere,” features the popular mountain hike that winds through the hills, passing a refreshing mountain pool ideal for cooling off before reaching Greyton.
