Far Far Away Guesthouse is a proudly 4-star graded retreat nestled in the heart of historic Graaff-Reinet, where Karoo charm meets relaxed luxury.
Owned and lovingly run by a Dutch couple who followed their dream to South Africa, the guesthouse offers a warm, personal stay with attention to detail and a true sense of place.
We offer a selection of beautifully styled rooms, including a Deluxe Suite and a spacious Luxury Suite, both available as king or twin configurations. The Luxury Suite also features an additional interleading room, ideal for families or friends travelling together.
Our Garden Room offers a unique semi self-catering option, perfect for longer stays or guests who enjoy a little extra independence. This spacious setup features two en-suite bathrooms, separate sleeping areas, and a private outdoor patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a quiet evening under the Karoo sky.
All rooms include comfortable beds, quality linens, en-suite bathrooms with amenities, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Guests can unwind in our tranquil garden with swimming pool and mountain views. While we do not offer dinner, we are happy to recommend and assist with reservations at the many excellent restaurants within walking distance.
Breakfast is available on request and freshly prepared with care — the perfect start to your day exploring Graaff-Reinet and the surrounding Karoo landscape, including the famous Valley of Desolation.
