FireFly Starry Woods Cabin offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a spacious, secluded unit located in The Crags, Western Cape. Tucked away in a remote forest setting, this cabin is ideal for guests wanting to truly disconnect and enjoy nature — far from the noise and pace of city life.
The Firefly Cabin is conveniently located just 25 km from Plettenberg Bay, 20 km from the beautiful beaches of Nature’s Valley, and approximately 6 km along a dirt road from the nearest shop.
It offers the perfect balance between peaceful seclusion and easy access to nearby towns and beaches.
Please note ** Due to the drought the hot tub is not available for use until further notice**
The whole property can accommodate up to six guests and consists of two separate units — the main house (default booking, sleeps 4) and a separate self-contained cottage (sleeps 2).
The main house includes two bedrooms and one shared bathroom. The cottage contains the third bedroom and accommodates two guests
When booking the property, the main house (sleeps 4) is the default and standard option selected. It comprises two bedrooms and one shared bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, and the second bedroom contains a double/size bed. The bathroom, fitted with a shower, washbasin, and toilet, is shared between the two bedrooms.
Please note that the separate cottage is not included in the base rate. It is charged at an additional per-person rate of R650 ppp and must be specifically added to your booking should you wish to use the third bedroom.
Please note that none of the beds in the house can be split into single beds.
The living area features an open-plan design with a fully equipped kitchen, including a gas stove, fridge-freezer, cutlery, and crockery. The lounge area is furnished with comfortable seating.
note that the property operates on rainwater tanks only. While the water is suitable for bathing and general use, guests are encouraged to bring their own drinking water for their stay.
Due to the ongoing drought conditions, we kindly ask guests to be mindful and conscientious of their water usage at all times.
Outside, guests can enjoy private outdoor seating and a braai area — perfect for sundowners while soaking in the tranquility of the surrounding forest. Nature walks and hiking trails are within easy distance from the house, making it ideal for guests who enjoy exploring the outdoors.
Parking is available in the open on the property. The area is considered safe and secure for peace of mind during your stay.
