Fish Eagle Cottage is a self-catering off-grid cottage located on the banks of Klein River Lagoon, just outside Hermanus. It offers a peaceful retreat for families or groups of friends.
The cottage accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed, and the other 2 bedrooms each have 2 single beds. Guests share a bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet. An outdoor shower with warm water is also available. The open-plan living area includes comfortable seating, a dining table, a fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.
Outside, guests can enjoy a covered verandah with braai facilities and outdoor dining, a sunrise deck, direct lagoon access with a double kayak, and secure on-site parking. Wood is provided for the first night, with additional wood available on request.
The property is ideal for nature lovers, with nearby hiking trails, river swimming, and access to a beach at Walker Bay. Stanford village is 10 km away and offers restaurants, wine tasting, and a village shop.
