Description

Just 90 minutes from Cape Town, Fraaigelegen Farm is set in a tranquil rural environment just outside Tulbagh. The property is surrounded by 20 hectares of vineyards and olive groves, lying at the foot of the Witzenberg Mountains, where guests are immersed in natural beauty and wide-open views. Award-winning ADHARA PREMIUM EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) and ADHARA PREMIUM WINES are produced on the farm, adding a unique local flavour to the stay.

Accommodation is provided in three self-catering cottages, each comprising 2 bedrooms and fully equipped with linen, towels, pillows, cutlery, and crockery, along with a microwave, fridge, and mini stove. Private verandahs are included in all cottages, where braai facilities are available. Air-conditioning is provided for the summer months, and an indoor fireplace is included for use during winter.

Cabernet and Shiraz cottages are situated to offer views over the dam, vineyards, and olive groves, while Olive Cottage provides panoramic views over the valley and surrounding mountain ranges. Olive Cottage is pet-friendly; however, arrangements must be confirmed with the farm before booking to ensure suitability, as the cottage is not fully fenced and certain breeds may not be permitted.

Nearby activities are available within the surrounding area, including mountain biking, zip slide experiences, hiking trails, and wine, MCC, or olive oil tastings. The property is positioned to provide easy access to Tulbagh, Wolseley, and Ceres, while the famous Route 62 of the Cape Winelands is also within close reach, allowing guests to explore the valley and its attractions conveniently.
