Description

Just 90 minutes from Cape Town, Fraaigelegen Farm invites you to slow down and experience the charm of an authentic farm stay. We are located just outside of Tulbagh on a rural farm setting.
Our 20-hectare wine and olive farm lies at the foot of the majestic Witzenberg Mountains, where peace, nature and wide-open views surround you.
Our cozy cottages are perfectly placed for exploring the valley – with Tulbagh, Wolseley and Ceres just around the corner, and the famous Route 62 of the Cape Winelands right on your doorstep.
It is home to award-winning ADHARA PREMIUM EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) and ADHARA PREMIUM WINES.

Accommodation is available in 3 self-catering cottages, each has 2 bedrooms and is fully equipped with linen, towels, pillows, cutlery, and crockery as well as a microwave, fridge, and mini stove. All cottages have a braai facility on their private verandah, air-conditioning for the summer months, and an indoor fireplace for winter months.

Cabernet and Shiraz cottage have beautiful views over the dam, vineyards, and olive groves, while Olive has fantastic views over the valley and mountain ranges. Olive is our pet-friendly cottage, however guests must connect with us prior to booking in order to confirm a reservation with a pet as we do not offer a fenced cottage and some breeds might not be permitted.

Nearby activities include mounting biking, zip slide, hiking and wine/ MCC or olive oil tasting.
