Description
Fynbos Gypsy Caravan offers a unique and peaceful escape in Barrydale. Perched on a hillside, the caravan overlooks a tranquil valley with views of surrounding mountains and orchards, creating an intimate retreat surrounded by Karoo fynbos.
The caravan accommodates up to 2 guests in single beds, with a seating area that can be converted into an additional bed suitable for a child if required. Linen and bath towels are provided. The communal kitchen, dining area, shower and toilet facilities are located approximately 30 metres from the caravan and include a fridge and seating area.
Inside, the caravan features a cosy seating space. Outdoors, guests can enjoy a boma-style braai area, hammocks for relaxing, and shaded areas among indigenous plants. Parking is available next to the caravan.
The property is located about 1 km from the centre of Barrydale, where guests can explore cafés, art galleries, antique shops and bookstores. Nearby attractions include Tradouw Pass, approximately 7 km away, known for its natural rock pools and waterfalls, and Warmwaterberg Hot Springs, about 40 km away.
Guests can also explore Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve, located roughly 20 km from the property, as well as local attractions such as Joubert-Tradouw Wine Estate and Joseph Barry Distillery. Activities in the area include hiking, swimming in natural pools, and enjoying the peaceful natural surroundings.
