Description
Fynbos Gypsy Caravan offers a unique escape in the heart of Barrydale. Perched on a hillside, this charming caravan overlooks a tranquil valley with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and orchards. Nestled among the Karoo fynbos, it provides an intimate and peaceful retreat where guests can unwind and reconnect with nature.
This caravan accommodates up to 2 guests in single beds and the seating area that can become another bed for a youth if needed. The communal kitchen and dining area, ,shower and toilet are located 30 m away from the caravan. where there is a fridge and seating, Linen and bath towels are provided.
The caravan has a cosy seating area. Outside, guests can enjoy a boma-braai area, two hammocks to relax in, and shaded spots surrounded by indigenous plants.
Parking is available beside the caravan. The Far side is 1 km or 2 min to cafés, art galleries, Antique and bookshops shops.
Nearby attractions include the Tradouw Pass for swimming in the pools and sitting under waterfalls only 7 km away and Warmwaterberg hot springs 40 km away. Guests can enjoy mountain hikes, swims in the crystal pools, or relaxing on the lawns under shady trees. The Far Side offers a veggie garden, seasonal fruit, and a dam 200 m away for swimming.
Other attractions are the Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve 20 km away, Joubert Tradouw winefarm 17 km , Metanoia Distillery 20 km away,The Handweavers and Joseph Barry distillery in town, Other attractions are The House of Books, The Magpie Art Colective, Moreson Antiques, Mud Modern Gallery, Diezel and Creame, and The Country Pumpkin .
