Gala-Gala Eco Resort is situated in Ponta do Ouro, a quaint coastal town in southern Mozambique, approximately 8 km from the South African border. The area is known for its unspoilt beaches, dune forests, renowned diving sites, and expansive ocean views. The town offers a vibrant atmosphere with local food and craft markets.
The resort offers a variety of accommodation options, including exclusive private deluxe en-suite cabanas and standard cabanas with communal facilities. The property operates on an intimate scale, allowing for personalised service and attention to detail.
Mozambique is largely a 4x4 destination, as there are no tarred roads in the area; a suitable vehicle is therefore required. Border transfers can be arranged at an additional cost per person for return trips from the Kozi Bay border only. No transfer service is available from Maputo, and guests travelling from there will need to make use of local taxi services.
