Absolutely amazing! Second time at amazing modern cube house, and will definitely come again! Thank you to our host.

Beautiful views, lovely sound of the ocean, private, and secure. The view didn't disappoint! Wonderful silence, peace, and privacy. Easy access to shops, restaurants, and the beach. A special spot for a weekend getaway. However, it would have been more enjoyable with some attention to small details and comfort of the guests. There was no art on the walls as advertised. The kitchen's cupboards are inaccessible and too tall, making it dangerous for short people and children to reach, with heavy platters and plates stacked very high. There was no space to put groceries. There was no sugar, sweetener, tea, or coffee (besides three coffee pods possibly leftover from someone else), or milk. There was only one roller towel which was almost finished. There was no complimentary body soap, shampoo, or conditioner, which would have been expected for the price. The organisation of cleaning supplies should not be in the bedroom cupboard and there was a smelly mop next to the bed when we arrived. The plastic shower curtain and cheap plastic rubbish bins with labels on them didn't match the luxurious design and felt like an afterthought. There was also a nasty blocked drain smell in the upstairs bathroom basin, and the bathroom vanities had stains and smelled strange. The four logs to sit on outside are rotten and uncomfortable. Some suggestions: a fan, an outdoor shower, more comfortable seating outside, and a few plants both indoors and in the back area would have been a nice touch. Even so, I really enjoyed the bath, the comfortable couch upstairs, and the Smart TV. The WiFi was fast and the aircon downstairs was appreciated. We felt very safe. Overall, we enjoyed our weekend and loved discovering this little town. We wished we had more time.

A good rest, in comfortable surroundings with all mod cons. Ours was a ten-day stay during which we relaxed with the sound of the sea and enjoyed the view out over the bay. The house provided all we needed, including a wood fire in the evenings (we bought wood from local farms) and the luxury (for us) of a dishwasher. We were extremely comfortable. The coastal fynbos birdlife gave us pleasure. We knew about the staircase inside the house, but an unexpected drawback was the steep walkway from where we parked the car to the front door, which is tricky for taking luggage and shopping in and out. The agent and host were extremely helpful. A particular delight is the lending library in a rondavel on the beach, where you can take out books and jigsaw puzzles for your stay. We discovered a splendid restaurant in Stilbaai, Coffee and Cream, and can highly recommend their meals and delicious cakes!

Quiet, private and very comfortable. The cube house is very private, quiet, clean and close to the walks next to the ocean. The kitchen is equipped with everything one would need to prepare meals while on holiday. Danie was also very friendly and responsive. I really enjoyed my stay; it is the perfect place to rest.

Amazing stay in a gorgeous little gem. We loved, loved our stay at the Amazing Modern Cube House. It was beyond our expectations. The house is ideally furnished and fitted with everything you need, even a Nespresso coffee machine, which was a bonus for us. The only thing that they did not have was an iron and ironing board, but I can't fault them for that because who irons on a holiday? The ocean view from the balcony was breathtaking, and our host was amazing. The people in the area were super friendly as well. Will definitely go back for another stay. Jongensfontein is gorgeous, and the Amazing Modern Cube House was just a gem.
