Description
Grassade Guest Farm forms part of the Harmonie Proteas Farm and is situated approximately 45 km east of Pretoria. This tranquil farm retreat offers guests the opportunity to truly unwind, while sable antelope, blesbok and springbok roam freely on the property, creating a unique and authentic farm atmosphere.
Accommodation at Grassade Guest Farm consists of two apartments, namely Springbok and Blesbok, as well as a larger self-catering unit with 12 bedrooms, ideal for group bookings. Guests staying in the self-catering rooms make use of a communal kitchen and social area, making it perfect for families and groups wishing to relax together.
Each of the two apartments accommodates up to 4 guests and features two bedrooms and one bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom has two single beds. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. Linen and towels are provided for guests’ convenience, and coffee, tea and sugar are supplied in each kitchen. Each apartment has a well-equipped kitchenette with a fridge, gas stove, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The open-plan lounge and dining area leads onto a private veranda with braai facilities and beautiful views of the surrounding wildlife.
The Grassade Units are ideal for larger groups, families or events and comprise twelve bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, accommodating up to 26 guests. Eleven of the bedrooms feature queen-size beds and en-suite bathrooms with a shower, washbasin and toilet. The twelfth bedroom is a family room with a queen-size bed, a double sleeper couch and an en-suite bathroom. Linen and towels are provided in all units.
The self-catering unit offers a spacious communal kitchen equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. There is also a communal dining area with seating that opens directly onto the boma area, ideal for socialising and relaxing together.
Guests can enjoy birdwatching, walking trails, game viewing or cycling on the farm. The historic town of Cullinan is located approximately 15 km away and offers a variety of activities, including zipline adventures, quad biking, rock climbing, and a mine tour at the famous Cullinan Premier Diamond Mine.
