Grassade Guest Farm forms part of the Harmonie Protea Farm and is situated approximately 45 km east of Pretoria. The area is best known for its peaceful countryside atmosphere, native flora, and close proximity to historic landmarks. The peaceful farm retreat offers guests the opportunity to unwind while sable antelope, blesbok, and springbok roam freely across the property. The historic town of Cullinan is located 15 km away, offering zipline adventures, quad biking, rock climbing, and diamond mine tours.
Accommodation consists of two 4-sleeper apartments, Springbok and Blesbok, as well as a larger self-catering unit featuring 12 en-suite bedrooms that accommodates up to 26 guests for group bookings. The apartments each comprise 2 bedrooms (one with a queen-size bed and the second with 2 single beds) and 1 bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. The 12-bedroom unit includes 11 rooms furnished with queen-size beds and en-suite bathrooms, alongside a family room with a queen-size bed, double sleeper couch, and en-suite bathroom.
The two apartments feature well-equipped kitchenettes with a fridge, gas stove, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Their open-plan living areas lead onto private patios with braai facilities. The 12-bedroom group unit includes a spacious communal kitchen equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, and crockery, as well as a large dining area opening onto an outdoor boma.
The property utilizes eco-friendly solar power and gas geysers. On-site activities include game viewing, birdwatching, hiking, and cycling trails.
