We had the breakaway we wanted, however expectations were not met! We were looking for a place to have a break and do something along the lines of hiking, biking, etc. The amenities that we were expecting (as per the website) were not available. MTB/Cycling - not on site, hiking - not on site or no trails visible on site, walking in the orchards - far too overgrown, horse riding - saw two donkeys but no saddlery! So we accepted that we would bike ride off site and then rest at the cottage for the remainder of the time. Unfortunately, relaxing at the cottage was not really possible - sitting on wooden kitchen chairs or at a wooden picnic table becomes really uncomfortable in a short space of time.
