Description

This spacious riverside cottage offers a peaceful escape on a large 2-hectare property along the beautiful Vaal River, making it ideal for families, groups, and guests travelling with furry companions. Cottage located approximately 150 metres from the river’s edge, the property is perfect for fishing enthusiasts and boating getaways, with convenient boat launching onto the Vaal river, close to the Barrage and Loch Vaal section of the river.

The cottage can accommodate up to 9 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, additional toilet and an additional sleeping area. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a single bed, a bunk bed, and a cot for an infant, and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, and toilet. This ensuite is shared with the second bedroom which contains a double bed and a single bed, while the additional sleeping area lounge is furnished with a single day bed. Linen and towels are provided for guest convenience.

The home features a fully equipped kitchen fitted with a fridge-freezer, drinks fridge, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, dining table, and kitchenware. The lounge and dining area offer comfortable seating, a fireplace, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi and a TV for entertainment. Additional amenities include a washing machine, ironing facilities, and complimentary toiletries.

Guests can relax outdoors while enjoying beautiful garden and river views, make use of the braai facilities and outdoor dining area, or request a safari tent at an additional minimal cost, which can be set up on the riverbank for a unique outdoor experience.
