Guppy Huys Oceanfront Bungalow is located directly on the ocean’s edge in the quiet seaside village of De Kelders known for its amazing whale watching.
The bungalow can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with queen-size beds, and the third bedroom contains 2 single beds. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom that is fitted with a shower and a toilet, and the second bathroom contains a shower and a bath. There is also a separate toilet off the main hallway.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains an induction stovetop, a multi-function oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer, cutlery, and crockery. The dining area has seating space for 6 people, while the lounge has a comfy lounge suite and a slow-combustion fireplace. A TV with a full selection of DStv channels and high-speed fibre with Wi-Fi is available. The house has an alarm system and outdoor beams and is linked to a 24-hour response centre. The bungalow is also fitted with solar energy, a battery, and a grid backup.
There are several large private outdoor spaces surrounding the bungalow, and the covered stoep has a built-in braai with a large dining table. The fenced garden has plenty of indigenous fynbos, and 2 well-behaved pets are welcome with prior arrangement.
From the property-wide eco wood deck, guests can watch the whales in season or relax in the privately placed wood-fired hot tub, and an open-air fire pit is available for a braai under the stars.
