85 on Dassen is a charming coastal retreat in the scenic village of Yzerfontein on the West Coast. The area is known for its pristine beaches, seasonal wildflowers, excellent fishing and beautiful landscapes.
The accommodation is situated on the same premises as the owner’s private home but has its own entrance to ensure privacy. The property features 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and the second bedroom a queen-size bed. The guests share a full bathroom fitted with a shower and a bath.
The open-plan living and kitchen area is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, microwave, induction hob and air fryer. The dining table seats 4 guests, and the patio provides a perfect spot to enjoy braai evenings while taking in the sea views. Secure parking is available, and guests should note that there are steps leading to the entrance.
The accommodation is approximately 200 metres from the sea, with views of Table Mountain on clear days and whales and dolphins visible in spring. The long, unspoilt 16-Mile Beach stretches from the main beach to the West Coast National Park, while nearby attractions include Buffelsfontein Game and Nature Reserve, !Khwa ttu and Living Colour’s. Several restaurants, a Spar, delis and the Swartland Wine Route are also within easy reach.
