It was a stunning stay and can't wait for the next visit. Very warmly welcomed place with very high-class staff, which includes a marvellous breakfast in the morning.

Very very nice. We just wanted to sleep over, but what a surprise at Hattingh House. Graham and David spoiled us with their hospitality and delicious food. Best B&B experience. Definite recommendation for sleeping over.

Baie baie lekker. Ons wou net oorslaap, maar wat 'n verrassing by Hattingh Huis. Graham en David het ons bederf met hul gasvryheid en heerlike kos. Beste B&B ervaring. Defnitiewe aanbeveling om oor te slaap.

Good day, concerning this review, we do not have a curfew here at Hattingh Huis. We lock the gate at 11 pm, which we told Sizwe and his cousin. Should they arrive later, which they did at 12:30 past midnight, they could hoot and we would open the gate for them, which we did. We do not give out a gate key for security reasons and have had no problems before concerning this. We feel that a 4 for cleanliness, location, and security is a little unfair considering that our previous reviews have been 5 on all points. We even cleaned their takkies for them as they had left foot marks on the floor of the cottage due to it having been raining. So as far as cleanliness is concerned, it is a priority. We would therefore ask you to review our status on this particular review. Thank you in advance.
