Great getaway in the countryside. Hermitage Huisies is a serene countryside escape near Swellendam. We booked the wood-fired hot tub and it was absolute bliss to unwind and see the sunset over the mountains. Swellendam town is a short drive and offers great coffee shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed a private braai on the undercover stoep. The owner is very friendly and you feel at home from the minute you arrive.

Beautiful environment for relaxing and unwinding. Our Rose cottage is so beautifully situated by the dam with a view of the mountains, the swimming pool was just around the corner. The cottage is so nicely equipped and very neat. We had a very nice stay.
