Highlands Farm Cottage is a charming and peaceful self-catering retreat nestled in the rolling countryside between Dullstroom and Tonteldoos. Set on an idyllic farm, the cottage offers a family-friendly escape where guests are able to enjoy wide open spaces, fresh mountain air, and scenic highland views. The surrounding area is well-suited to outdoor enthusiasts, with activities such as bush walks, cycling, mountain biking, and swimming available on the farm, while fishing can be enjoyed nearby.

The cottage can accommodate guests in 4 bedrooms and comprises 3 bathrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, toilet, and a washbasin. The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, a toilet, and a washbasin. The third bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds, while the fourth bedroom contains a single bed. These rooms share a bathroom fitted with a shower, a toilet, and a washbasin. Linen and bath towels are provided, along with extra pillows and blankets for added comfort. The living area includes a couch and a sleeper couch suitable for 1 guest.

The cottage features an open-plan living area with a cosy fireplace and wood provided, as well as a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen includes an electric stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge-freezer, and basic cooking essentials such as pots and pans. Indoor and outdoor braai facilities are available, creating a versatile space for dining and relaxation, while a balcony offers scenic views of the surrounding farm.

Guests are able to unwind and enjoy the tranquillity of farm life, with access to 3 dams that offer fly-fishing opportunities when stocked. The property provides lake access and secure parking under a carport, and is reached via a gravel road with 4x4 access recommended. An in-person greeting is provided on arrival, ensuring a smooth and welcoming start to the stay.
