Hillbilly House and Goedehoop are situated on a farm in the Clocolan district, offering comfortable accommodation for a peaceful countryside escape.
Hillbilly House is a self-catering silo with 2 levels, located approximately 100 metres from the main property. It offers accommodation for a couple, and linen is provided.
Goedehoop is a self-catering house built from the ruins of a nearly century-old dairy and storage complex. Sandstone has been carefully split and shaped to reconstruct the building on its original foundations, combining historical charm with modern comforts. The house accommodates up to 8 guests, and there is a small separate building that accommodates a further 2 guests. Guests are required to bring their own sleeping bags and pillows.
Guests can enjoy walking across 1,000 hectares of fields and grasslands shared with cattle and sheep, as well as fishing in 2 dams stocked with barbel, carp, and black bass. Wildlife on the property includes blesbok, zebras, steenbok, duikers, reedbuck, and warthog, along with a variety of bird species, including both common and water birds. The area also offers exceptional stargazing under clear, unpolluted night skies.
The property offers a unique blend of rustic heritage, off-the-grid accommodation, and nature-based adventure for guests seeking an authentic outdoor experience.
