Hillbilly House and Goedehoop are situated on a farm in Clocolan, offering comfortable accommodation for a tranquil getaway.
Hillbilly House is a self-catering 2-level silo located just 100 meters from the main property, providing accommodation for a couple. Goedehoop is a self-catering house built from the ruins of a nearly century-old dairy and storage complex. Sandstone was carefully split and shaped to reconstruct the building on the original foundations, combining historic charm with modern amenities.
Guests can enjoy hiking across 1,000 hectares of fields and grasslands with cattle and sheep, fishing in two dams stocked with bream, carp, and black bass, and observing wildlife such as blesbok, zebras, steenbok, duikers, and occasionally warthogs. Birdwatching is also a highlight, with various waterfowl, kingfishers, and the endemic Secretarybird present. In the evenings, guests can enjoy stargazing under the clear, unpolluted night sky.
The property offers a unique blend of rustic heritage, nature, and adventure for guests seeking an authentic outdoor experience.
