Description

Hippo’s Honk at Kruger is a double-storey self-catering holiday home with solar power, located in Marloth Park, approximately 50 m from the Kruger National Park boundary fence. The Crocodile Bridge entrance gate to the Kruger National Park is situated about 20 km from the property.

The house accommodates up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The upstairs main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. The second bedroom contains a double bed and makes use of a separate bathroom with a shower, basin, and toilet. The third bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and includes an en-suite bathroom with a shower, basin, and toilet. An additional outdoor shower and toilet are also available. All bedrooms and living areas have pre-paid air-conditioning units and ceiling fans. Quality linen and towels are provided.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with 2 fridges, a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery, and crockery, and is complemented by a scullery. The dining area seats 6 guests, while the lounge offers comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV with Netflix and YouTube. The living area opens onto a patio with an infinity swimming pool and a braai boma with a fire pit. The upper-level veranda features additional braai facilities and outdoor dining furniture. Free Wi-Fi, insect screens throughout, feeding troughs for wildlife, and secure on-site parking are available.

Marloth Park offers frequent wildlife sightings, including zebra, giraffe, kudu, impala, warthog, and bushbuck. Nearby activities include game viewing, bush walks, cycling, and day trips into the Kruger National Park via the Crocodile Bridge gate.
