Didn't visit. Just needed a place to sleep overnight. Good night's sleep. Comfortable bed. Super clean bed linen. Too bad breakfast wasn't part of the package. Bathroom spotless. Tea/coffee in the room.

Quaint, delicious meal, clean spacious room but avoid staying on karaoke eve! Delightful place to stay, was very clean and quaint. As with most sorts of historic properties, it could do with an update on decor but was still lovely. A couple of downers: the room was very cold; a heater for winter would have been good to take the bit out of the winter air. However, the bedding was sufficient to keep us warm whilst we slept. The other big downer was it was karaoke night and the live exceptionally loud music raged until 1:15 am. Unfortunately, our room was directly above the pub. The pub music itself wasn't an issue, just every time someone sang, so if they have live music, it’s probably an important thing to mention to guests. I would avoid staying there on karaoke eve again personally; however, I would love to go back again nonetheless. Food was delish, lovely vibe.

Step back in time. Centrally located. Fun pub with great local beer. Very comfortable beds, travel back in time. They took a long time with the food in the evening, but we think we went too early, being with young kids.
